Why FORHAIR Hair Transplant Group?
Qulity is our foremost concern in satisfying our patients. For the highest quality, we provide genuine techniques and surgical environments distinguished from other hair transplant providers. Equipped with proper sterilization equipment to eliminate and minimize the possibility of patient exposure to infectious bacteria, we aim to alleviate any stress borne by our patients and bring comfort to their experience. As mentioned, our team of expert technicians dedicated to dissecting hair follicles participate throughout the entire surgery process. Alongside our patient focused practice, we also operate our own research laboratory dedicated to hair transplantation based upon our expertise in Alpharetta. Dr.Cole and his staff are proud to offer their services in due diligence as pioneers of hair transplantation, promising quality results.
How does the CIT® technique work?
Pre-existing hair transplantation is performed by making an incision on the occipital area (donor area) followed by the sowing of the harvested follicles and to the hair transplantation. However, such procedures left patients with a linear scar causing discomfort. This has led to the development of the next generation of hair restoration surgery known as the Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) technique which leaves no apparent scars. Due to the meticulous nature of the FUE technique, it requires scrupulous surgical skills and it being more time consuming than previous methods causes high rates of follicle loss during the procedure. Implementation of Dr. Cole’s, Cole Isolation Technique (CIT) has been the turning point for FUE with the technique attributing to the highest maximization of the rate of hair follicle survival. The CIT technique reduces follicle loss and damage down to 2% and amplifies the engraftment rate of the follicles by up to 95% proving it to be the most superior surgical technique in the world.
How long is the procedure?
The duration of the procedure varies depending on the number of follicles planned for hair transplantation. On average, a procedure lasts around 7 hours. Recognizing the importance of every single hair follicle, we utilize manual punches to extract hair follicles, rather than using automatic extractors (punch) which may reduce the extraction time but cause damage to hair follicles. We pride ourselves in placing our foremost value on our patients, caring for each follicle with the highest degree of precaution.
