FORHAIR Real Story

Rediscovering My Roots: A Hair Transplant Journey in Korea

I had a routine follow-up appointment with FORHAIR earlier this week. I got the standard post-op treatment and had a visit from the doctor. He saie everything looks great, and in his opinion, my transplanted hair has pretty much grown out (grown in?) to capacity. This is bettersweet. I love the fact that my hairs grew in much faster than the estimated 1-year time frame. However, since I was still hoping for more density in the crown area, I now have to consider my options from thie point. I don't think it would take too many more grafts to fill in the area of concern, so I am considering a second surgery. I should talk to FORHAIR in more detail, but hopefully I can work something out. If not, it does look pretty good when shaved short. I have no real qualms with Bruce Willis style. When all is said and done, I have a great life: wonderful kids, a solid job, a loving wife. Some roots have left me, it's true - and I even gained many of them back - but some roots never go away. A life rooted in family/friends, in compassion, in something greater than ourselves. These are the roots that we must truly cherish and nurture. I'm not sure if this is my last post - maybe the last posting before a new beginning? It's been a great adventure and I'm happy I decided to do it. I hope something in these messages was of value to you as well. Either way, thanks for reading and may your roots run deep.

Week 33
Back on the root enjoying the (semi-)fresh air and cooking some hotdogs.
Another contrasting shot between my forehead line and the crown area.
My daughter wanted to surprise my wife with cookies for her birthday!
Pic 1: A great springtime pic outside at my work.
Pic 2: "At peace" with the kids.
Spending more afternoon time with my children. my hair looks pretty good in these pics, too!
Pic 1: That elevator light really shines the truth down on your head.

Week 34
Sorry for the weird expression. I think I was excited about pizza and pasta!
Planes, trains, and automobiles... that's all this boy needs. Well, for toys at least.
I love these pictures not because of myself, but rather because of the jacket!

I wanted to show my crown again - zoomed out and in. Again, it's only noticeable from certain angles and not that big, so a small additional surgery might be an option.

What a wonderful time I had goofing off with my kids this day. I was off work, so we spent some time building a fort, reading books, and making silly faces.
One selfie in front of the new baseball stadium and the other right before my FORHAIR checkup.
I shaved it off - again! You knew it was coming by now, no??

Follicular Unit Extraction Hair Transplant is Different If You Know The Facts
Many hair loss suffers are increasingly choosing the more expensive FUE surgery over the STRIP surgery for the reasons that the former does not leave scars or cause swelling. Is hairline correction necessary?

Hairline correction information
There are many people who get FUE hair transplants for their hair loss, but what if the hair loss is minor or just beginning? In that case, FUE hairline correction can be a suitable choice.

The importance of hairlines
Everyone has differently shaped hairlines, and as people get older hairs get thinner and can fall off. When designing hairlines, these factors and more must be considered for the most natural results. It would be strange if an elderly person had the hairline of a child!
